The Hague, 1st of February, 2023. With a wonderful cultural evening, the Cuban Embassy in the Netheralnds, in cooperation with the Hispanic Association in the Hague, conmemorated the 170th Anniversary of the birth of our National Hero Jose Marti.
Members of Latin-american and Caribbean Diplomatic Corp, cubans resident in the Netherlands, and members of the Hispanic Association, were present during the tribute to the most universal of Cubans. Cuban Ambassador Anet Pino Rivero, delivered a statement, highlighting the extensive work of the Apostle as a journalist, proffesor, diplomat, lawyer, writer and above all, tireless fighter for the independence of Cuba and all of "Our America".
Special moment was dedicated to presence of Marti and the validity of his thought in our children. With the presentation of an audiovisual of the pedagical-cultural project "La Colmenita", empahisis was palced on the formation of values that are promoted in our country, through culture and education, taking Marti´s thougth as a guide.
