The Cuba–Türkiye Friendship Association, the Communist Party of Türkiye (TKP), and the Embassy of Cuba held an event to commemorate the 67th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution and in solidarity with Venezuela.
The activity began with the projection, on the theater screen, of photographs of the 32 Cuban combatants who fell in heroic combat during the cowardly Yankee aggression against Venezuela on January 3, followed by a minute of silence with raised fists by those present, in tribute and in memory of the Cuban combatants.
During their speeches, both Kemal Okuyan, General Secretary of the TKP, and Alejandro F. Díaz Palacios, Ambassador of Cuba to Türkiye, highlighted the heroic manner in which the fallen faced the criminal aggression and state terrorism carried out by the U.S. government against #Venezuela.
They emphasized that the combatants shed their blood in fulfillment of their duty as revolutionaries and internationalists.
