Uganda holds national solidarity meeting with Cuba.

Kampala. On January 20, Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdes Mesa participated in the closing session of the National Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba in Uganda held at the Christian University of Uganda.

Ugandan personalities, organizations and institutions in solidarity with the island, starred in a day full of colour, emotion and commitment to the defense of the people of Cuba.

It was an opportunity to extend recognition to those who have maintained a close connection with the Cuban Solidarity Movement in Uganda, and even award the highest distinctions awarded by the Institute of Friendship with the People to a dozen friends and organizations.
