Uganda reopens its Embassy in Cuba

Havana. On September 14, 2023, the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda was officially reopened in Havana, Cuba.

With the presence of Jessica Alupo and Salvador Valdés, vice presidents of Uganda and Cuba, respectively, the African diplomatic headquarters opened its doors after 23 years of closure.

In the year of the 49th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between both countries, the will to strengthen bilateral political relations is ratified.
