In their demonstrations against the cruel economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, in Copenhagen, a group of friends made a tour -for five hours- with demonstrations standing in front of the North American Embassy, and in the Folketing, Christiansborg Palace, seat of the National Parliament.

Similarly, the local Associations of Solidarity with Cuba in Odense, Svendborg and Kolding, announced the start of the Campaign located in public places, with the flags of our two countries, using banners with the emblem of "UnblockCuba". In turn, they distributed flyers (triptychs), which contain an explanation of the impact of the blockade on Cuba.

The Friendship Association also disclosed in a Press Release that with the Administration of President Donald Trump, “Cuba has experienced the harshest blockade and the most brutal action”, never seen before, and draws attention to the need to continue the struggle against this injustice with more force, until relations with respect for the sovereignty of Cuba are normalized.

The text of the declaration of the Friendship Association discloses three links from the North American publication "Belly of the Beast", about the blockade, the conversation with the President of the union organization, 3F BJMF, Claus Westergreen, who claims not only to fight with the flags of Solidarity, but to demand that the Government also negotiate with the northern country, the establishment of normal relations with the Greater Antilles, and finally, a letter from the Association addressed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeppe Kofod, in which promotes a more determined action by Danish diplomacy in ending this hostile policy towards Cuba.
