UNICEF revises the Medium-term Cooperation Plan with Laos

Vientiane March, 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba participated in the review meeting of the Medium-Term Cooperation Plan between the Lao Government and the United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, in the period 2022-2026.

Achievements and challenges in working for children's rights and well-being, including health, nutrition, education and protection since the beginning of UNICEF's cooperation with this Southeast Asian country in December 1973, were presented.

The event was attended by representatives of Lao ministries and institutions involved in the issue, as well as the Diplomatic Corps, regional and international organizations, including development partners.
