University sectors in Türkiye continue to expand solidarity actions with Cuba by joining the signature campaign promoted by the José Martí Küba Dostluk Derneği (José Martí Cuba Friendship Association).
In this context, initiatives emerging from spaces linked to Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (Middle East Technical University – ODTÜ) and İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi (Istanbul Technical University – İTÜ) have begun bringing the campaign to university campuses, promoting the collection of signatures in rejection of the economic and energy blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
The involvement of the university sphere reflects the growing solidarity expressed by academic and student sectors, strengthening the reach of the campaign and contributing to raising awareness about opposition to the blockade.
These actions confirm the continued expansion of solidarity with the Cuban people in Türkiye.
