The US blockade stalks Cuba all over the world.

New York, September 21, 2018. On June 8, 2017, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) imposed a 87,255 dollar fine on the company American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) because one of its subsidiaries in Canada -Honda Canada Finance Inc.-, approved and financed 13 vehicle leasing agreements between the Cuban Embassy in Canada and a concessionary of Honda in Ottawa between February of 2011 and March of 2014.

The same Office imposed a 148,698 dollar fine on the US company American International Group (AIG) because between 2007 and 2012, AIG was involved in 29 apparent violations of this policy, providing insurance coverage to several shipments of goods to or from Cuba or related to a Cuban entity.

On September 26, 2017, OFAC prohibited a donation of medicines to the NGO "Caritas Cuba", because the ship carrying the cargo belonged to the US company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.

On November 17, 2017, the Office of Control of Foreign Assets imposed a fine of 291,825 dollars on the company BCC Corporate S.A. (BCC), a Belgian subsidiary of the US company Alpha Card Group, for selling, between 2009 and 2014, credit cards that were used to make purchases in Cuba. Fifty percent of the shares of Alpha Card Group belong to the US company American Express.

On December 27, 2017, the Inter-American Development Bank blocked funds for an academic agreement between Cuba and the Polytechnic School of Chimborazo, Ecuador, due to the US blockade against Cuba.

On February 12, 2018, it was known that 5 Indian banks refused to make a transfer from the office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Cuba, addressed to the Indian company Ankur Scientific Energy Technologies LTD, due to the US blockade regulations against our country.

On February 12, 2018, the Malaysian branch of the US company ADT received instructions from the parent company to refuse to renew the security services contract to the Cuban Embassy in that country, for being Cuba a country under United States sanctions.
