US hostility to Cuba will fail, says Cuba's minister

Havana, May 14 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca assured on Thursday that the US government's efforts to distort Cuba's truth will fail, adding that the US hostility to the country will reach a dead end.

Our history is clear proof of Cuba's position and its Revolution in the face of terrorism, Malmierca wrote on Twitter.

Washington increased its hostility to Cuba by reincorporating the country to the list of countries that 'do not cooperate with anti-terrorism efforts,' while remaining silent on the attack against the Havana embassy in that state.

Given this position, the Cuban authorities rejected the country's reincorporation into the list issued by the US State Department and denounced that the White House hides its history of State terrorism against the island.

On another tweet, Malmierca said that the decision of the US government seems like a mockery when USA remains silent about the assault rifle attack against the Cuban embassy.

'Who gave the US the right to make these politicized lists? We will resist,' he added.

Cuba had not been on the aforementioned list since 2015, when the country was removed after staying on the list for over three decades.

Now, using the excuse of the presence ofthe Colombian National Liberation Army's members and other pretexts, the island was reincorporated along with Venezuela, Iran, Syria and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
