Regardless of the tenant that occupies the presidential seat of the empire, or if its policy towards the island is more or less radical, the reality is unique: the hegemonic interests of the United States regarding Cuba remain intact.
In the new times, they incorporate into their harassment and unhealthy persecution against our country any method that feeds their illusion of surrendering, but at the same time they maintain old, absurd and hypocritical formulas in search of reversing, towards the Biggest of the Antilles, the discredit of which they themselves are the object in the eyes of the world.
The Biden administration has already made his position on this sovereign nation clear. The nature of the acts that coined his position has been forcefully exposed by the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
"The US Government acts with cynicism by keeping Cuba on the list of countries that do not cooperate in the fight against terrorism," said the president on Twitter, in addition to reiterating that the 243 measures applied by the Donald government Trump, intact to this day, persist in suffocating our people.
However, history has a voice: the strength of Cubans lies in their unity and, therefore, such "efforts" are destined for the most resounding failures. The irrefutable truth is that, as Díaz-Canel also expressed, in the name of all revolutionaries: "No one surrenders here."
