The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia receives the Cuban Ambassador

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Lasha Darsalia, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in this Caucasian nation, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, with whom he spoke in a cordial atmosphere.

The meeting took place in the headquarters of the Georgian chancellery and both parties ratified the interest to deepen the bilateral ties, in addition it was exchanged on multilateral topics.

Accompanying the Deputy Minister Darsalia, the director of the Directorate of the Americas, Gvaram Khandamishvili, the Head of the Department of Latin America, Zura Mchedlishvili and the counsellor in Caribbean issues, Ekaterine Dugladze.

On the Cuban side also participated the consul who attends Georgia, Alina Quesada Rodríguez.
