Vice President of the Parliament of Latvia receives the Ambassador of Cuba

Riga, September 17, 2022.- The Vice President of the Latvian Parliament, Dagmara Beitnere-Le Galla, received this Friday the Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, accredited in this capital from Finland.

During the exchange, the Cuban diplomat shared information on national news, in particular on the impact of the US blockade on daily life and the upcoming legislative referendum to decide on the new Family Code.

From his Twitter account, Parra highlighted about the meeting "(...) I had a pleasant and fruitful dialogue. We appreciated her interest in expanding cultural, commercial and parliamentary exchanges."
