The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was received at the Palace of the Revolution by the Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Inés María Chapman.
During the talks, both Vice-Presidents ratified the good state of bilateral relations and the interest to continue deepening them.
The Ghanaian Vice President was accompanied by: the Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu; the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Mohammed Habibu Tijani; the Ambassador of Ghana to Cuba, Napoleon Abdulai. On the Cuban side, took part at the meeting: the Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Marcia Cobas; the General Director of Bilateral Affairs, Emilio Lozada García; the Director a.i. of Sub-Saharan Africa, Alejandro García Palacios; the Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Pedro Luis Despaigne González.
Prior to the meeting, the distinguished visitor paid homage to the Cuban National Hero José Martí.
