The vicepresident of the CubanParliament and the Council of State visits Laos

Vientiane, September 2023. The vice president of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State, Ana Maria Mari Machado, is on an official visit to the Lao PDR, fulfilling an invitation from the National Assembly of that country. Upon arriving at the air terminal at Wattay International Airport, she was received by parliamentary member Com. Keochaleun Xianyingyang, vice chairman of the Ethnic Affairs Committee.

Mari Machado will hold important work meetings with senior Lao leaders and visit places of historical, economic and socio-cultural interest.

Ambassador Enna Viant Valdes and representatives of the Cuban embassy in Vientiane, gave a warm welcome to the senior Cuban leader.
