A video conference between delegations of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece was held on February 17.
The Cuban side was chaired by the First Deputy Minister of MINCEX, Carlos Luis Jorge, and the Greek side was headed by the Secretary General of International Economic Affairs and President of the Board of Directors of Enterprise Greece, Dimitris Skalkos.
In the broad and fruitful exchange held by both representations, topics related to the current state of bilateral ties in the areas of trade and investment were discussed in depth and they confirmed the mutual interest in continuing to work for their strengthening and expansion. They also ratified the willingness of their institutions to stimulate exchanges and collaboration in various areas in which possibilities and perspectives of mutual benefit have been identified. In addition to other officials from both ministries, the respective Ambassadors accredited in Athens and Havana also took part in the meeting.
