As part of the cooperation that Cuba offers, a videoconference between health professionals was organized in coordination with MINSAP, UCCM and UNRWA. Our doctors exchanged experiences acquired in the fight against COVID with Dr. Akihiro Sita, Director of Health of UNRWA, with Dr. Abdul Hakim Chanaa, Head of the Health Service and with Ms. Sahar Al-Jabouri, Director of the office of that organization in Egypt; On the Cuban side, Cuban doctors Martha Castro and Narciso Jiménez from the Pedro Kouri Institute of Tropical Medicine participated, along with the Cuban Ambassador to Egypt, Tania Aguiar Fernandez.
This exchange, in addition to serving UNRWA to enrich its knowledge and experience in the battle against this pandemic, also highlights the support of the Cuban people for the Palestinian and the decision to always maintain their support for their cause.
