Vietnam leaders congratulate Cuba on the anniversary of diplomatic relations

Top leaders of Vietnam sent messages of congratulations to their Cuban counterparts and to the people of the island on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

General secretary of the Communist Party and president of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong, conveyed his congratulations to the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raúl Castro, and to the president of the Caribbean nation, Miguel Díaz-Canel.

Prime Minister, Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and the head of the National Assembly, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, conveyed their congratulations to their Cuban counterparts, Manuel Marrero and Esteban Lazo, respectively.

For his part, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Head of Diplomacy, Pham Binh Minh, sent a congratulatory message to Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister Bruno Rodríguez.

Throughout the month of November in the Indochinese nation, multiple political, cultural and social activities were held in salute to that inaugural act of an era of brotherhood and solidarity between the two countries that constitutes a paradigm for international relations.
