Abuja, February 7, 2024.- The Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria Miriam Morales Palmero visited the headquarters of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) where she met with a great friend and expert on Cuba, the Director of the Department of Political Relations, Peace and Security, Ambassador Abdel Fatau Musah.
They exchanged about the history of Cuba, its merits and its historical leaders. She recognized Cuba's contribution to the African continent, especially in the training of quality professionals for the internal development of the countries.
A fruitful meeting took place in which issues of regional and national interest were debated.
On the Nigerian side, the Director of the Department for Good Governance and Democracy was present, as well as the president of the Division for Migration Affairs and Conflicts.
Third Secretary Ana Flavia Gómez Pavot was also present on the Cuban side.
