The Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt Tania Aguiar Fernández and the officials of the Embassy of Cuba paid a visit to the House-Museum of the former Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser. The diplomats had the honor of taking the tour guided by Nasser's youngest son, Abdel Hakim.
The museum is located in the area of Manshiyet Al-Bakri, east of Cairo, where Gamal leader Abdel Nasser and his family used to lived.
The museum consists of two rooms. The main one is for the president's offices, the attached rooms, the master bedroom, the living room and two rooms on the ground floor.
The museum includes many personal documents and personal collectibles of Gamal Abdel Nasser, among which there is a cigar humidor gift from the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro, in addition to his personal and family photos, clothes, cameras, pens, military medals and other memories.
