Vientiane, February 21, 2025. An intense day of visit by the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs closes with a friendly, supportive exchange and the consequent affection of friends presided over by Dr. Chaleun Yiapahoer, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Chairman of the Friendship Association and the Parliamentary Friendship Committee between the respective countries.
Present were the Director General of the General Department of Europe Americas of the Lao Foreign Ministry, Khampheng Douangthonla and officials of the Party, representatives of the Cuban collaboration and enthusiastic representatives of the AALC.
Rodríguez Parrilla thanked the unconditional support of friends in this enterprising Southeast Asian country, where they have defended the need to eliminate the unjust blockade against Cuba and the elimination of the spurious list of states sponsoring terrorism. I conclude that the people of Cuba feel honored by the friendship and solidarity they profess to them.
