Oslo, December 9, 2023. These days, a delegation from the National Union of Public Administration Workers of Cuba (SNTAP) is visiting Norway, invited by the Norwegian Union of Municipal and General Employees (Fagforbundet).
Niurqui Sosa de los Reyes, member of the National Secretariat of SNTAP, and Yinet Peña Batista, general secretary of that Union in the eastern province of Las Tunas, fulfill an extensive program, which includes exchanges with the national board and local structures of Fagforbundet in Oslo, Innlandet (Hamar) and Sør-Varanger (Kirkenes and Svanvik), as well as with representatives of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) and the The Equality and Anti-Discrimination Ombud.
Fagforbundet has around 395,000 members and, as part of its international projection, has maintained relations of friendship and cooperation with SNTAP for several years. (Embacuba Norway)
