A visit to the Teaching Hospital in Cape Coast, the capital of the Central Region, in southern Ghana.

Accra, September 17, 2026. We had the pleasure of visiting the Teaching Hospital in the town of Cape Coast, 150 km from Accra, the capital, where two of our magnificent doctors devote their soul, heart, and life to serving this sister nation: cardiologist Dr. Werman Revé and Dr. Aroldis Poll, an intensivist—both highly recognized for their compassion and dedication. Dr. Eric Kofi Ngyedu—Executive Director (CEO) and Consulting Maxillofacial Surgeon, a graduate of Cuba—offered us a warm welcome alongside the hospital’s Board of Directors. Little by little, we were joined by “Cubanitos”—graduates of Cuba who still carry Fidel and his legacy in his hearts.
