The Embassy of Cuba in the Republic of Türkiye has the honor to accompany the opening of the exhibition “Küba İçin Dayanışma Sergisi” (Exhibition of Solidarity with Cuba), which opened its doors at the Galería de Arte Detay.
We express our deep gratitude for this valuable artistic initiative, conceived to strengthen the bonds of solidarity with the Cuban people in the face of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the Government of the United States. Through their works, 116 artists from diverse disciplines—painting, sculpture, photography, caricature, drawing, and mosaic—express their support for Cuba’s dignified resistance and help raise awareness, through culture, about the consequences of this unjust policy.
The Embassy especially recognizes the commitment of the artists and organizers of this exhibition, who have united their voices in defense of principles such as sovereignty, justice, and respect for international law.
We are convinced that art serves as a bridge between peoples and a powerful tool to promote awareness and solidarity. In this spirit, we reiterate our gratitude to all those who made this exhibition possible and invite the community to join and further expand these expressions of support for Cuba.
