Walk by Accra in homage to Commander in Chief Fidel

On Saturday, December 3, in the morning a group of Cuban friends marched through the streets of Accra in homage to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, physically missing the night of November 25.

At the walk health, denominated "Ghana Loves Fidel", and organized by the groups of solidarity with Cuba in Ghana, was attended by representatives of the All African People's Revolutionary Party (A-APRP), leaders of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), representatives of Ghanaian graduates in Cuba, the Staff of the Cuban Embassy, members of the Cuban Medical Brigade, a group of the Cubans that live in Ghana, as well as other friends of Cuba. The participants carried Cuban and Ghanaian flags, and allegorical photos of the friendship between the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro and the founder of the Republic of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah. The walk health covered a space between the headquarters of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and the Residence of the Ambassador of Cuba.

At the end of the march, in a brief political rally, the Vice-President of the TUC, comrade Alexander Nyarko Opoku, the representative of the All African People's Revolutionary Party, Nana Yaa Gyanfuah and the Cuban Ambassador, Pedro Luis Despaigne González, emphasized the role of Fidel and Cuba in solidarity with just causes and emphasized the importance of Fidel's legacy for Cuba and for the peoples of Africa and the world. There were also congratulated the members of the Cuban Medical Brigade for the Day of the Latin American Medicine.
