Why is Cuba not a failed state and what worries the US most? (+ Video)

They failed to achieve the precursor chaos needed by the empire and by Biden, the "globalist," the one who had pompously announced the "return" of America and his intention to "lead" the world; They needed it (and they continue to need it, so they will continue to act) because they know that their geopolitical objectives are unattainable without "recovering" the increasingly elusive Latin America and the Caribbean

As reported by CNN days ago, in a press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the US President classified our country as a "failed state" that represses its citizens; He added to this that he did not consider restoring remittances from the US to Cuba, as he was concerned that the Cuban regime would confiscate them; He further said, for example, that the US was seeking to reestablish internet access in Cuba and that it was ready to send us COVID vaccines if an international organization administered them and ensured that average citizens (?) had access to them ; the President also asserted that communism was a "failed system."
The "failed system", although said as a simple statement and without any foundation, the expression is still an outrageous expression, which includes considering a system that still only exists in theory as failed.
But more importantly, the main documents of the Obama and Trump administrations (National Security Strategy of 2015 and 2017; Strategic Defense Orientation of 2012; National Defense Strategy of 2018; Indo-Pacific Strategy Report of 2019 -REIP 2019 , among others) consider the People's Republic of China the main strategic rival of the United States, which does not seem to indicate that socialism can be considered "failed" by those who grant it the category of main rival.
Furthermore, in practically all the "free" press media, when referring to Cuba, the idea of a "failed state" was reiterated and, in chorus, they dedicated themselves to spreading false information about the supposed "social outbreak." Of course, the aforementioned press did not say anything about the multi-million dollar financing that from the US budget, and for decades, has reached supposed NGOs, actually organizations created and settled mainly in Miami, to encourage subversion and the longed-for "change of regime”in Cuba.
It cannot be ignored by any observer that the "spontaneous outbreak" occurred practically simultaneously in different parts of the country and after the period of "softening" that began as part of the fourth generation war, considering its promoters that the situation in the country was propitious. for soft hit as a consequence of:
01. The weakening of the Cuban economy as a result of the perverse punitive measures adopted by the Trump administration aimed at preventing the entry of foreign currency into the country for all reasons, including exports of services of all kinds;
02. Punitive measures aimed at preventing the supply of fuels;
03. The global economic crisis deepened by the pandemic, which also affects Cuba;
04. Actions aimed at preventing the acquisition of medical supplies, including those necessary for the preparation of our vaccine candidates.
Good sense forces an analysis of the "failed state" to which President Biden insolently refers when speaking of Cuba. I think we can agree, no matter how controversial and intentional any definition in this regard may be, and without even going back to its murky origins and its use to justify interventions, that by "failed state" can be understood one in which there is a power vacuum, not there is a guarantee of its functioning, including basic services, in which its institutions are fragile and illegitimate, and it lacks the resources to satisfy the needs of its citizens.
Can anyone in their right mind think that there is a power vacuum in Cuba? There is no doubt, the answer is no, because many times the Cuban people have shown that they are capable of giving themselves the institutions that they consider ideal and have decided the form of government that they consider best for the democracy they have freely chosen.
Doesn't the Cuban State work? Are basic services not working in Cuba? It is not even necessary to question the mental health of those who deny the quality of such services. The excellence of the Cuban educational system and the quality of its institutions, which assure the country the human potential capable of collaborating in the training of thousands of professionals from other countries, of providing medical services to those who may need it in the world, even in Exceptional conditions, of successfully facing the current pandemic, of producing vaccines, medicines, and health intelligence to control them, are more than enough elements to clear up any doubts.
The Cuban institutions, those of Education and Health, do not work; sports and cultural ones; the academic and scientific; the economic and financial, the military, the religious, the social…? No opinion that denies the functioning of the same, or that considers them fragile or illegitimate, is objective, and can only come from ignorance, sick minds or that are politically motivated.
We are left with the resources to meet the needs of citizens. It is clear that the blockade has by no means achieved its ultimate objective: to return Cuba to the imperial fold; however, the impact of Lester Mallory's strategy, drawn up in April 1960, is undeniable: "the deprivation of money and supplies to Cuba to reduce its financial resources and real wages, cause hunger, despair and the overthrow of the government."
Despite the fact that when we compare ourselves with Cuba before the Revolution and with what has been achieved in the recovery of our independence, sovereignty and dignity; by looking at the path traveled in eliminating all kinds of discrimination and other scourges, and after noting the material and human losses caused by bacteriological warfare - which has been done to us since the infamous Operation Mongoose in 1961, and then continued with the introduction of cane rust (1978), African swine fever (1971, 1979, 1980), tobacco blue mold (1980), hemorrhagic dengue (1981), hemorrhagic conjunctivitis (1981) - and hurting our dead , we feel satisfied by our triumphs even knowing and realizing how much prosperity they have stolen from us.
Although prosperity is not measured only by economic and material abundance, it is much more than that, to be happy and full, no one doubts that it is necessary to satisfy, first, material needs. And to prevent us from achieving such satisfaction, from Eisenhower, the 34th, to Biden, the 46th of the US presidents, some Republicans and the other Democrats, have maintained and even reinforced the blockade, that only naive, malicious or mercenaries are able to minimize or unable to see.
How much prosperity have they stolen from us?
During the more than 60 years of the blockade, in current dollars (the mere fact that the calculation has to be made in US dollars indicates how impossible to minimize the data), the cost has been slightly more than 140 000 million dollars. In "round figures" and in 60 years, the data does not seem relevant, about 2.4 billion dollars a year, only that, because they are dollars with different purchasing power, the sum and the average make little sense. Therefore, and to be precise, it is better to perform the calculation considering the gold that could have been bought with what was left in each year of the blockade, and then significantly the figure changes (just remember that since 1971 the Bretton Woods system ceased to exist , based on: 1 troy ounce of gold = $ 35, at the time of writing this is $ 1,804.84) to more than a billion (nine zeros) dollars.
But if the calculation is carried out considering the «loss of profit», that is, the «profit or profit not obtained ... due to the actions of a third party», then the calculation must include around 70% that we would have consumed (every year and of increased way) and around 30% invested (of each year and also in an increased way); also the results of the investments made and the accumulated and invested depreciations ... during 60 years, which would change the progression until it would surely bring it closer to the trillion dollars (million million, this time of 12 zeros).
And the empire thought that it would be possible to take advantage of the conjuncture of the sum of our deficiencies generated by the blockade and the economic crisis, and of the global pandemic, to apply to us the new forms of war that it had already used successfully in other regions of the world ... and he tried to unleash chaos using his agents and the existing malaise, but the geostrategy failed them.
They failed to achieve the precursor chaos needed by the empire and by Biden, the "globalist," the one who had pompously announced the "return" of America and his intention to "lead" the world; They needed it (and they continue to need it, so they will continue to act) because they know that their geopolitical objectives are unattainable without "recovering" the increasingly elusive Latin America and the Caribbean, their "backyard", in which they have lost their once position hegemonic and Cuba is found, all of which makes it impossible to revive the Monroe Doctrine to exclude its main geopolitical rivals such as China, Russia and even Iran, from the American continent.
