The Lao leader called for finding new ways and methods to restore socioeconomic conditions affected by various crises. He noted the imperative to continue to strengthen ourselves by using innovation and modern information technology to drive transformation aimed at making the implementation of the international development agenda, including the sustainable development goals, advance and achieve the expected results.

For this reason, he reaffirmed that the Lao People's Democratic Republic continues to demand the immediate end of the economic embargo against the Republic of Cuba and believes that the embargo will only cause harm and negative effects on innocent peoples and will create more divisions between nations.
