Kingston, 21 November 2024. Students from the Wolmers Boys High School Spanish Club visited the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Jamaica this morning.
During their exchange with Cuban diplomats, they exchanged views on the bonds of brotherhood that unite the peoples of both nations. They deepened their knowledge of the life and legacy of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, our National Hero José Martí and the Bronze Titan Antonio Maceo. They showed interest in the national symbols and attributes, as well as in the functioning of the Cuban health and education systems and the noble work developed by Cuban collaborators in both sectors on this Caribbean island.
This activity is part of the actions promoted by two Cubans living in Jamaica, Mayrelis Marin Diaz and Alexis Gonzalez, who act as coordinators of this club.
