From this historic square of the Revolution and in front of the image of our National Hero “José Martí”, on the occasion of celebrating May Day today, the Day of the World Proletariat, we send to all the workers of our country, the congratulations and the fraternal greetings, for your commitment and leading contribution, to continue building a Cuba, as the Living, United and Victorious Homeland, bequeathed to us by the heroes. We workers are aware that we are going through a complex and challenging scenario, but we are also carriers of the conviction that only those who fight, resist and do not give up are those who have the right to succeed. The creative deployment of multiple popular initiatives in communities and labor groups is a reflection of the spirit and responsibility with which we workers assume the decisive battle to advance the economy and the efficiency that is demanded of it. This May Day we will once again reaffirm the majority support of our people, and as part of it its workers, for the immense work of equity and justice of the Cuban Revolution.
