The delegations present celebrated the 200 years of the Battle of Carabobo under the leadership and visionary character of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, recognizing the historical significance of this military feat as a milestone that sealed the independence of Venezuela.
ALBA-TCP once again ratified its commitment to genuinely Latin American and Caribbean integration, to multilateralism and the principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter and International Law, in line with the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as Peace Zone.
