Organized by the "José Martí" Cultural Association, with the attendance of a large audience, the meeting “Cuba: Solidarity will prevail” was held at the EKPA Law Faculty, in which a group of young people shared their experiences about their participation in brigades that travel to Cuba to carry out volunteer work and show their solidarity with the heroic people of the island.
The brigade members' presentations, well supported by videos, photographs and scientific data, focused particularly on the experiences of the last two groups that traveled in July and December 2023.
The speakers shared opinions and anecdotes not only about the various topics derived from the seminars and conferences they attended at the "Julio Antonio Mella" International Camp, but also regarding what they saw and appreciated about the current situation in Cuba and the unwavering resistance of its people to the reinforced economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed for more than 60 years by the United States government.
Within the framework of the meeting, information about the upcoming brigades was also announced and solidarity with the Cuban people was ratified and the energetic demand that the criminal blockade against Cuba be ended and that it be excluded from the spurious list of countries. supposedly promoters of terrorism.
