Zambian Delegation participates in the 5th International Convention “Cuba Health-2025”
Lusaka, April 25, 2025. A delegation from the Zambian Ministry of Health, headed by Doreen N. C. Matambo, Director of Human Resources, and Mukelabai Mundale, represented the Zambian Minister of Health, Hon. Elias Muchima, at the 5th International Convention “Cuba Health-2025,” held in Havana from April 21 to 25, 2025.
During the event, the Zambian delegates met with Minister José Ángel Portal Miranda and held technical meetings with directors of the Cuban Medical Services Company. They also visited the prestigious Pando Ferrer Ophthalmological Hospital, among other activities.
The participation of the Zambian delegation underscores the interest of both countries in renewing and expanding health cooperation agreements, focused on human resource development and technical training for healthcare personnel. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Zambia).
