Lusaka, December 5, 2024. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Marileydis Dueñas Morales and the Minister of Health of the Republic of Zambia, Hon. Dr. Elijah Julaki Muchima, MP held a fruitful working meeting today at the headquarters of the Ministry itself, in the company of the principal policy Analyst at the Ministry of Health of Zambia, Mrs. Chilweza Musongwe and Dr. Cheelo Mumbuna, a Zambian medical graduate from Cuba.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Marileydis Dueñas Morales, attended the International Day of Solidarity with Palestine organized by Ambassador Beatrice Mutali, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Zambia, together with Dr. Walid Hasan, Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Zambia and dean of the diplomatic corps in the African nation.

Lusaka, September 6, 2024, in the commemorative activity for the Official Day of the Republic of Brazil, the Ambassador of Cuba Marileydis Dueñas Morales exchanged with the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Zambia, Hon. Mr. Elvis Nkandu, MP, to whom she reiterated the will to develop cooperative relations with that country.

Lusaka, March 24, 2024, The Ambassador of Cuba in Zambia, Marileydis Dueñas Morales, signed the book of condolences opened at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Zambia, on the occasion of the terrorist attack perpetrated at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow that caused the death of more than hundred people.
