ZICUFA patron holds meeting with Ambassador of Cuba

Today, the patron of the Zimbabwe-Cuba Friendship Association (ZICUFA), Hon. Chen Chimutengwende, held a luncheon with Cuban ambassador Carmelina Ramirez. The lunch was welcoming the Ambassador as head of the Cuban diplomatic mission and Cuba's main representative in Zimbabwe. Chen, who is also president of the Cuba-Zimbabwe Parliamentary Friendship Group, reiterated the deep bonds of friendship that exist between both countries and the excellent relations that existed between our historical leaders: Fidel Castro and Robert Mugabe. Also present at the luncheon was cde Chakanyuka Karase, vice chairman of ZICUFA and chairman of Zimbabwe Pan-Africanism and International Solidarity Committee (ZIPAISCO).
