Zimbabwe Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group for a year of new victories in support of Cuba

Harare, 24.01.2023. The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Cuba in Harare, Yoisy Ford García, held a friendly meeting with the Honorable Senator Chen Chimutengwende, president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba and patron of the Zimbabwe-Cuba Friendship Association (ZICUFA). Also present were Dr. Stanley Mungofa and Debrah Gwati, President and Vice President of ZICUFA respectively.

In the exchange, Chimutengwende and the ZICUFA executive ratified their commitment to continue supporting the Caribbean island in its fight against the blockade and achieve its exclusion from the list of sponsors of terrorism. The moment was propitious to analyze new actions in the interest of boosting the historical-cultural exchange between both nations.
