Zimbabwe guarantees support for Cuba against the Blockade

Zimbabwe guaranteed support for Cuba against the economic blockade imposed by the United States on the Caribbean island at the African Union Summit. This happened at a meeting held on the morning of Wednesday the 24th between the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Vladimir Guerra and Chakurangeyi Mutodza, Acting Director of Continental Affairs of the Foreign Ministry.

At the 30th Ordinary Session of the African Union Summit, a resolution will be presented against the unjust blockade of Cuba, as has been done in recent years.

The meeting also discussed topics of mutual interest and ratified the strong ties of friendship between the two countries.
