Zimbabwe ratifies its unconditional support for Cuba in the fight against the US blockade

The charge d'affaires a.i. of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Yoisy Ford García, was received at the Zimbabwean Foreign Ministry by the Director of Multilateral Affairs a.i., Mr. Munetsi Malverin Bere. The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere; Mr. Bere conveyed the unconditional support of his country to the Caribbean island in the fight against the blockade. He noted that both countries are victims of unfair sanctions, which violate international law. He conveyed his deepest condolences for the human and material damage caused by the fire at the Supertanker base in Matanzas.

On the other side, the Cuban representative highlighted the good state of bilateral relations, expressed the gratitude to the government of Zimbabwe for its historic support in multilateral spaces, especially in the fight against the blockade, and highlighted the will between both nations to expand cooperation in sectors of common interest.
