Cuba thanks world solidarity against the US blockade

Havana, May 2 

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez thanked the world for its support in the fight against the US blockade, while speaking at the International Solidarity Meeting.

Rodriguez expressed his gratitude to the organizations attending the meeting in this capital for the organization of days against the blockade, declarations, marches, donations and support caravans.

Raúl and Díaz-Canel Preside Over Parade on Workers Day

Havana, May 1, 2022. Army General Raúl Castro Ruz and the first secretary of the central committee of the Communist Party and president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, presideed over the parade on the International Workers Day.

The presence of the Army General had been announced during the closing day of the IV Plenary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba.

Ricardo Alarcon died in Cuba

Veteran Cuban diplomat and politician Ricardo Alarcon passed away today in Havana, close to his 85th birthday, relatives and official sources confirmed.

The history of Cuban revolutionary diplomacy cannot be written without mentioning among its most precious pages the brilliant and innovative performance of Ricardo Alarcon de Quesada, the Havana embassy in Romania wrote on social media.
