Aggression with fire arm against the Embassy of Cuba in the United States

In the early hours of Thursday, 30April 2020, an unknown individual opened fire with an assault weapon against the building of the Embassy of Cuba in the United States.

There was no personal injury to the Mission staff, which is safe and protected, but there was material damage caused to the building resulting from the impact of the bullets.

The individual, about whose identity to the Cuban government has no information, was detained on site by local authorities and is under custody.

Cuban Ambassador to Denmark conveys CCPCC message to the Communist Party (KP)

The Cuban Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, Roger López García, conveyed to the comrades of the Communist Party (KP), a message from the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, for the celebration of the International Workers' Day, which highlights the validity of the concept of "Revolution" expressed by Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, on May 1st, 20 years ago.

Cuba calls for an effective solution against Covid-19 for humanity

Havana, Apr 24 Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez said today that humanity demands an effective solution to Covid-19, a pandemic that affects the majority of the planet.

In his account of the social network Twitter, the Chancellor stressed that this is a crisis of multiple and devastating effects not only in the field of health, but also in the economy, international trade and society.

The Minister urged to unite international efforts and stressed that "together we can achieve it."

Message from the CTC secretary of Cuba to the working class of the world for this May Day

Havana, April 24: Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, Secretary General of the Cuban Workers Central (CTC) and vice president of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU), sent a message to the world working class, on the occasion of the celebration of this May Day.
