Cuban parliamentary delegation visited Lithuania

Vilnius, December 4, 2019. A delegation from the National Assembly of the People´s Power of Cuba (ANPP), headed by the parliamentarian Andrés Castro Alegría, president of the Committee on Education, Culture, Science, Technology and Environment, completed a working program in Lithuania, which included meetings with the Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Baltic country.

Helsinki, November 7 2019. The international community again overwhelmingly rejected the Blockade imposed by the US against Cuba for almost 60 years:

By 187 votes in favor, 3 against and 2 abstentions, the General Assembly of the United Nations (UNGA) approved on November 7 the resolution “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba”. The resolution demands the immediate elimination of that illegal, extraterritorial and unfair policy.
