This Thursday the Embassy visited the Origin By Ocean company, in Espoo, Finland. An interesting approach to the use of Sargasum in important processes of the textile or pharmaceutical industry. Cuban Ambassador, Beatriz Parra González and the Consul Adalberto Avila Parra were grateful to learn about its projection towards algae in the Caribbean Sea.
During a pleasant meeting, the representative of Cuba in Finland, Beatriz Parra González, spoke with Ms. Katja Nolvi, Secretary of the Friendship Group with Cuba in the Finnish Parliament. In just over an hour, the Caribbean diplomat updated Ms. Nolvi on the main issues of the Cuban national reality, highlighting the achievements made in the legislative field in the country, for which she expressed, there is an interest in consolidating ties between our Parliaments. Likewise, she referred to the impact that the country faces from the damage caused by the United States blockade policy against Cuba.
"Cuba congratulates the people and government of the Republic of Estonia on the occasion of its National Day," says the official site of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cubaminrex. The greeting message that was also widely published through its users on social media adds "we ratify our willingness to continue expanding relations between our nations." President Miguel Díaz-Canel also sent a letter to his Estonian counterpart, Alar Karis, in which he shares greetings for the National Day and expresses interest in advancing bilateral ties.
In the context of the celebration of the 106 Anniversary of the Independence of Estonia, Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, shared her best greetings to Foreign Minister, Margus Tsahkna. In her words the diplomat reiterated the special message transmitted by President Miguel Díaz-Canel to President Alar Karis, on the occasion of this memorable day. As part of the ceremonies, the diplomat will participate in the military parade and other activities scheduled for such a special occasion.
During her visit to Estonia, ambassador Beatriz Parra González was received by the Director of Transatlantic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carmen Klaus. During the exchange, both parties reviewed the topics of interest on the bilateral agenda. Cuban diplomat thanked HE Mrs. Klaus for Estonia's vote in the resolution against the US embargo to Cuba, on the UN General Asembly.
