Presentation in The Hague of the Cuba´s report to the United Nations on the damage caused by the United States blockade during the last year.

The Hague, 5 October, 2019. Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Soraya Alvarez Núñez, made a presentation on the genesis, development and tightening of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba for almost 60 years and constitutes the center piece of the current US administration´s policy government against our country with a strong extraterritorial character.

Cuba and The Netherlands advance links in Higher Education.

The Hague, 26 September 2019. The Embassy of Cuba on the Kingdom of the Netherlands received the Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Groningen and the University of Havana (UH), which has already been signed by the President of the Board of Directors of the Dutch University and is expected to be signed by the University of Havana´s Rectors office. In the near future. This MOU is intended to consolidate and expand the cooperation relations between the two institutions.

The Hague, 22 of August 2019.The Third Secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Katia Aruca Chaple, received on August 22 a group of students from the University of Leiden, as part of the HOP Introduction Week (Hague Orientation Program).
