Serbia, Cuba bound by historical, friendly relations
Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin met with Minister of Interior of the Republic of Cuba Alvarez Casas Lazaro Alberto in St. Petersburg.
Vulin and Alberto discussed issues of interest to both countries and reached an agreement that Serbia and Cuba are bound by historical and friendly relations, which are based on the principles of equality and mutual respect.
The Deputy Prime Minister, who is participating in the meeting of senior security representatives of BRICS plus in St. Petersburg, informed the interlocutor about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the international community's failure to respond to the extremely difficult situation of the Serbs in the southern Serbian province, who daily suffer the arbitrariness of the so-called authorities in Pristina.
Vulin expressed his gratitude to Cuba for respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia and for its principled stance on not recognizing the fake state "Kosovo", as well as for voting against the resolution on Srebrenica in the United Nations General Assembly.
