Serbia, Cuba bound by historical, friendly relations

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin met with Minister of Interior of the Republic of Cuba Alvarez Casas Lazaro Alberto in St. Petersburg.

Vulin and Alberto discussed issues of interest to both countries and reached an agreement that Serbia and Cuba are bound by historical and friendly relations, which are based on the principles of equality and mutual respect.

The Deputy Prime Minister, who is participating in the meeting of senior security representatives of BRICS plus in St. Petersburg, informed the interlocutor about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the international community's failure to respond to the extremely difficult situation of the Serbs in the southern Serbian province, who daily suffer the arbitrariness of the so-called authorities in Pristina.

Vulin expressed his gratitude to Cuba for respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia and for its principled stance on not recognizing the fake state "Kosovo", as well as for voting against the resolution on Srebrenica in the United Nations General Assembly.

Open letter of the academician Ignacio Ramonet, Zorica Dobrijević Dabić

Dear friends,
I consider the open letter of the academician Ignacio Ramonet to be the voice of the intellectual and free world addressed to the outgoing president of the USA, but also to the American people who should know that putting the Republic of Cuba on the list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism is deeply unjust and contrary to international law, a senseless act.
That is why it is very important to immediately make a decision to cancel such a shameful decision, which further complicates the economic and social situation in Cuba.

OPEN LETTER FROM IGNACIO RAMONET TO PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: “Take Cuba off the list of sponsors of terrorism!”

Our dear friend Ignacio Ramonet sent us this open letter to the President of the United States. Casa de las Americas supports this noble initiative and invites writers, artists, cultural promoters, academics, activists and social fighters, members of non-governmental organizations, and people sensitive to the daily suffering of the Cuban people to support it with their signatures.
