Believing in youth determines a conduct, and our conduct as revolutionary leaders would not be the same if we did not have faith in youth. If we did not believe in youth, our conduct, our attitude would be different, our work with youth would be different and the results, of not believing or believing, would also be very different.
Cuba Condemns Israel’s Killings of Palestinians
Cuba has condemned Israel”s killings of unarmed Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where brutal repression by the Israeli Army left 18 dead over the weekend and over 1,400 wounded.
Cuba Youth Orgs Mark Anniversary
Cuban authorities, young people, children and the people in general are marking today the 56th anniversary of the Young Communist League (UJC) and the 57th anniversary of the Jose Marti Pioneer Organization, bringing together elementary and junior high school students.
The national event took place in the south central city of Sancti Spiritus, but activities are being carried out in each institution and education center of the island to commemorate the date, with deliveries of commemorative medals, productive works and cultural events.
Raúl receives Saudi Foreign Minister
Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Minsters, yesterday afternoon received his Excellency Adel Bin Ahmed Al Jubeir, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, who is on an official visit to the country.
During the meeting, they emphasized the positive state of relations between the two countries and expressed their interest in further developing ties. They discussed issues on the international and regional agendas, as well.
