Addis Ababa, September 1, 2025.- This Monday, the Second Climate Week (CW2) kicked off in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. CW2 is a global platform that drives climate action by bringing together governments, experts, financial institutions, civil society and youth to turn commitments into concrete actions.
Addis Ababa, August 30, 2025.- With an emotional and solemn ceremony, the Granma 72 Association commemorated this Saturday the 45th anniversary of its founding. The event brought together former Ethiopian students trained in Cuban military academies, members of the Latin American diplomatic corps accredited in Ethiopia and senior Ethiopian government officials.
Addis Ababa, August 29, 2025.- The Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia hosted a meeting with the leadership of the Ethiopia–Cuba Friendship Association, during which the deep ties of friendship and solidarity with the Island were reaffirmed.

The Cuban Government strongly rejects the current deployment of United States military forces in the Caribbean Sea. This dangerous action represents a serious threat and an aggressive show of force against the sovereignty and self-determination of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean. Furthermore, it ignores the commitment of the 33 Member States of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States when they proclaimed the region as a Zone of Peace.
