Addis Ababa, September 9, 2026.- To mark the arrival of the Ethiopian New Year 2019, the Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia welcomed a visit from Ambassador Dr. Meles Alem, Director General for Europe and the Americas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Addis Ababa, September 7, 2026.- Cuba’s Ambassador to the African Union, Lucas D. Hernández Polledo, held a productive meeting with H.E. Mr. Albert M. Muchanga, Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union. During the meeting, both diplomats discussed the state of bilateral relations between Cuba and Zambia, highlighting their historic ties of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation.
Addis Ababa, September 5, 2026.- To mark the Ethiopian New Year, a traditional religious ceremony was held at the Cuban Embassy in Ethiopia. During the event, Ethiopian friends and graduates of Cuban educational programs expressed their support for the Cuban people during these challenging times and offered prayers on their behalf.
