A large Gambian delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology traveled to Cuba this Sunday to participate in the 13th University 2022 Congress that will be held in Havana between February 7th and 13th.
If Cuba progresses, Africa will also develop, said today Honorable Badara A. Joof, the Gambian Minister of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology, in a meeting in his office with excellency Rubén G. Abelenda. the Caribbean island's ambassador to this nation from West Africa.

The members of the Cuban Medical Brigade (BMC) in the Gambia will celebrate this January 1st the 63rd anniversary of the triumph of their Revolution, and the advent of a new year, as will their people, with hopes and joys, and willing to fight in order to advance and preserve its sovereignty and independence.
