Ambassador of Cuba participates in the celebration of World Portuguese Language Day.
Lusaka, May 5, 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba in Zambia, Marileydis Dueñas Morales, participated in the celebration of World Portuguese Language Day, organized at the Residence of the Ambassador of Brazil in Lusaka, His Excellency Mr. Arthur Nogueira, together with the Angolan ambassador to Zambia, His Excellency. Mr. Albino Malungo and the Honorary Consul of Guinea Bissau in Zambia, Ambassador Franco Nulli.
Cuba has been warning about the dangers posed by the impunity with which Israel has acted against countries in the Middle East with the complicity and support of the United States government. The illegal attack on the consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus, in clear violation of International Law and the 1961 Vienna Convention, endangered international peace and security, fostering the possible regionalization of the conflict with unpredictable consequences for the world peace.
Lusaka, March 24, 2024, The Ambassador of Cuba in Zambia, Marileydis Dueñas Morales, signed the book of condolences opened at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Zambia, on the occasion of the terrorist attack perpetrated at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow that caused the death of more of a hundred people.
On behalf of the Cuban Government and people, the Cuban diplomat condemned the atrocious act and extended her deepest condolences to the Government and people of the Russian Federation, as well as to the family and friends of the victims (EmbacubaZambia).
