Cambodia thanks Cuba's health support

The Minister of Health of Cambodia, Man Bunheng, thanked the Ambassador of Cuba, Liurka Rodriguez, for Cuba's support in the topic of health, and spoke for the cooperation and friendship between both countries.Bunheng reminded of the work of the Cuban doctors in the 80s and 90s, when Cambodia was recovering from a heavy war and lacked personnel and resources to tend to the needs of its population.

Cambodia, Cuba Appreciate Mutual Support on International Scene

Cambodia and Cuba has spoken highly of their good bilateral friendship, solidarity and cooperation as well as their mutual support on international arena. The appreciation were made by Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Senate of Cambodia and newly appointed Ambassador of Cuba to Cambodia H.E. Cambodia and Cuba celebrate 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties

The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, received on Tuesday the Cuban ambassador to Cambodia, Liurka Rodriguez, at the start of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between both countries. The head of the government assured the activities would be on par with the relations of friendship, cooperation and respect between both nations, and expressed his thanks for Cuba's solidary help in the fields of health care and formation of human rights.

Cambodia, Cuba to Hold Various Activities to Mark 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Ties

The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Cuba will commemorate the 60 years of their diplomatic relations this year by organising various activities ranging from cultural exchange to photo exhibition. The information was shared by H.E. Ms. Liurka Rodriguez Barrios, newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Cambodia, during her meeting with Director General of the Agence Kampuchea Presse (AKP), H.E. Mrs. Sokmom Nimul, at the AKP’s headquarters in Phnom Penh this morning.
