Reopening of the “Casa del Habano” in Ulan Bator, Mongolia.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. August 17, 2018. Casa del Habano celebrated its reopening in the Mongolian capital, together with the diplomatic corps accredited in Mongolia and the Embassy of Cuba. The event also had the participation of businessmen and government officials from this country. Lovers of Cuban cigars were able to taste their exquisite and incomparable flavor accompanied by different cocktails made with the famous Cuban rum Habana Club.

Ambassador meets with Mongolian students who will begin their studies in Cuba in the 2018-2019 academic year.

Cuba participates in INTERSPUTNIK's joint 46th session of the Board and 21st session of the Operations Committee.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. June 21, 2018. Between June 19 and 21, the 46th Session of the Directing Board and the 21st Joint Meeting of the Operations Committee of the INTERSPUTNIK Organization met in Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Cuba is a founding member of this organization which was created in November of 1971 by disposition of Resolution 1721 (XVI) of the General Assembly of the United Nations. INTERSPUTNIK is an open organization and its international satellite communications system was created and operates in accordance with the provisions contained in said resolution.

Medical training for the application of Heberprot P begins in Mongolia.

With the presence of Dr. Yanisbel Ortiz Peña, first degree specialist in Vascular Surgery of the National Diabetes Care Group of the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB), training began in Ulaanbaatar today of the Mongolian medical specialists in the extensive use of the Cuban medicine Heberprot P for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers.
