Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia met with the Director of the Department of International Treaties and Foreign Cooperation of the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs

Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia; Jorge Ferrer met with the director of the Department of International Treaties and Foreign Cooperation of the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs, Mrs. Bat-ULZII Tumurbaatar.

Both parties exchanged on reciprocal legal assistance and bilateral cooperation in the traditional atmosphere of friendship, mutual respect and cooperation that characterize relations between the two countries. Both countries and their institutions have signed various agreements and memorandums of understanding on different matters.

Available on the web from November 15, 2021, D'Viajeros is the online platform that allows passengers to fill out a form, with a maximum of 48 hours before their arrival in Cuba, with personal, migratory, sanitary and customs services and thus optimize the experience in its transit through the migratory, sanitary and customs services of the Republic of Cuba.

An Online Visa Application System began to function In Cuba as of February 9, 2022

As part of the computerization process of Cuban society and in order to facilitate visa applications, the Cuba Online Visa Application System began operating on February 9, 2022, on the platform http://visasonline.minrex.gob.cu/es

In the case of Mongolia, there is a bilateral visa-free agreement, so Mongolian citizens do not need to apply for a visa to travel to Cuba.

60 years since the proclamation that formalized the criminal economic blockade by the United States against Cuba

Declaration by the revolutionary government

The revolutionary government condemns the continuance for over 60 years of the economic, commercial and financial sanctions formally imposed by the United States on 3rd February 1962. On that date, the then president, John F. Kennedy, issued Proclamation 3447, “Embargo on All Trade with Cuba” under Section 620(a) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961. He thereby conferred official status on the unilateral economic hostilities already in effect against Cuba since our country’s revolutionary victory.
