Dear Foreign Minister Enrique Reina,
Dear Ministers and other representatives of our region,
We thank the Pro Tempore Presidency of Honduras for the timely convening of this meeting. We also support the convening of a Summit Meeting of Presidents and Prime Ministers of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States later this week.
Mr. President:
The Association of Spouses of Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand (ASOMFA) received the Group of Spouses of Heads of Mission (SHOM) in this country, among whom was Niurka de la O Mojena, Consul of the Cuban Embassy.
The meeting was an opportunity to exchange experiences and cultures and marked the beginning of a collaboration program between the two associations.
United States authorities approved an additional sum of more than 50 million dollars for subversive actions against Cuba, with emphasis on media manipulation campaigns, Cubadebate’s website reported on Sunday.
Cubadebate Director Randy Alonso on Sunday commented on some of Washington’s latest policy against Cuba in an article entitled “Blockade and Subversion against Cuba: Fines to Banks and More Than 50 Million for Interventionist Programs.”
